4-1. Communication Protocols, Ports

PMP communicates via UDP/IP, 45055 port by default. Administrator can change port number.

PMP Admin:
Runs as a communication server, opens UDP/IP, 45055 port.

PMP Agent:
Runs as a communication client, opens UDP/IP, a port assigned by the operating systems.

4-2. Windows Firewall Settings

Go to .. Start > Control Panel > Security Center > Windows Firewall > Exceptions

Register the following programs for exceptions:

  • PMP Agent: (Server-side program)

    PMPagent.exe
    (in PMP Agent program's folder)

  • For PMP Admin: (Administrative program)

    PMPadmin.exe (in PMP Admin program's folder)
    PMPmail.exe (in PMP Admin program's folder)
