5-2. Windows Firewall Settings
To use the SMP in Windows XP SP2 properly, install the product first and register exceptions for Windows Firewall.
Control Panel > Security Center > Windows Firewall > Exceptions
Register the following files for exceptions:
- SMP Server (Administrator)
SMPServer.exe
SMPrc.exe
SMPftpc.exe
These files are located in the SMP Server program's folder.
- SMP Console (Administrator, Professional only)
SMPconsole.exe
SMPrc.exe
SMPftpc.exe
These files are located in the SMP Console program's folder.
SMPClient.exe
SMPrd.exe
SMPftpd.exe
These files are located in the SMP Client program's folder.

SMP Client component files will be installed to the Windows folder as the following file names. Source files are not compressed and only the file extension will be changed when copied. (bin -> exe, din -> dll)
