1. File Integrity Check (MD5) What is MD5 ?
Now, SMP supports MD5 file integrity check for networked client PCs.
With this function, administrator can confirm a file's integrity in the client PC to check if the file has modified by a virus or other reason.
SMP Server menu: Control > File Integrity Check (MD5) Ctrl+5
The following is a screen shot of checking notepad.exe file:

File Path Notation:
$W : Windows Folder
$T : Temporary Folder
Hash Generator helps you to generate a MD5 hash with your local files.
Note: A file's hash may different depends on the Windows version.
The result will be transferred to Control Result window:
Note: The result data are temporary. If you close the window or run another check, the previous data will be deleted.

2. Environment Variable Fetching What is Environment Variable ?
Now, you can fetch environment variables of client PCs through Dept. and Etc fields.
To get variable, enclose variable name with % character.
%OS%
%PATH%
This is a screen shot for changing Dept., Etc field in the Server:
If there is no defined variable, Client will return "N/A" for data.
Note: Variable names are case-insensitive. The variable data are limited up to 20 bytes long.

4. How to Update (for existing customers)
This is a major update and Server, Client of all editions are required to be updated.
Submit your license information and get the latest version first.
(Please do not update with the trial version.)
SMP Server (Pro/Std):
- Close currently running SMP Server, uninstall Server
- Install new setup
Client (Pro/Std):
- Uninstall Client via Add/Remove Programs and follow the instructions.
- Install new setup.
You can download the Silent Uninstaller for Client. Please make this uninstaller run on each PCs before install new Client. Check Readme.txt file for detailed instructions.
